Lunchtime seminar on British-German security cooperation

Dear YATA members,

We cordially invite you to a lunchtime seminar on British-German security cooperation at the British Embassy Berlin on 12 June.

Brigadier Rider of the British Embassy and a representative of the German Federal Ministry of Defence will offer a British and German perspective on the following questions:

  1. what does British-German security cooperation currently entail and how has it evolved over time?
  2. what are the benefits of security cooperation and why is it important?
  3. to what extent might Brexit affect security cooperation?

There will be an opportunity to ask questions at the end.

The event will begin at 12pm sharp. Please arrive at the British Embassy no later than 11.45am to clear security. A light lunch reception will be served from 1 to 1.30pm.
