Franziska Stahl ist Beraterin für internationales Krisenmanagement, Referentin und Ausbilderin, mit besonderem Schwerpunkt auf der Sahelzone. Sie verfügt über mehr als 12 Jahre Erfahrung in der Arbeit mit internationalen Organisationen, Think Tanks und NGOs mit Schwerpunkt auf politischer Analyse und Programmgestaltung für Friedens- und Konfliktlösung und internationale Entwicklung. Zuvor war sie als Projektleiterin und davor als Leiterin der Analyse der zivilen EU-GSVP-Mission EUCAP Sahel Mali in Bamako tätig. Als ausgebildete Politikwissenschaftlerin (IHEID Genf) hat sie sich auf Regierungsführung und Korruptionsbekämpfung, Friedenskonsolidierung und Sicherheit nach Konflikten spezialisiert. Zuvor arbeitete sie für den Europarat, das OHCHR, die OSZE-Einheit für Terrorismusbekämpfung und eine in der Schweiz ansässige Entwicklungsberatungsfirma, für die sie Projekte im Bereich Regierungsführung, Frieden und Sicherheit für bi- und multilaterale Geber in Afrika südlich der Sahara sowie in Mittel- und Osteuropa leitete. Sie ist außerdem Mitglied des deutschen Expertenverzeichnisses für internationale Friedenseinsätze.

Franziska Stahl is an advisor for international crisis management, a consultant and trainer, with a special focus on the Sahel region. She has over 12 years of experience working with international organizations, think tanks and NGOs, focusing on political analysis and program design for peace and conflict resolution and international development. She previously served as Head of Projects and prior to that as Head of Analysis of the civilian EU CSDP mission EUCAP Sahel Mali in Bamako. A political scientist by training (IHEID Geneva), she specialized in governance and anti-corruption, post-conflict peacebuilding and security. Franziska previously worked with the Council of Europe, the OHCHR, the OSCE’s Action against Terrorism Unit and a Swiss-based development consultancy managing projects in the realm of governance, peace and security for bi- and multilateral donors in sub-Saharan Africa and Middle and Eastern Europe. She is also a member of the German Expert Roster for International Peace Operations.
