Dr. Anna Wieslander ist Direktorin für Nordeuropa beim Atlantic Council und Leiterin von dessen Büro in Stockholm. Sie ist außerdem Vorsitzende des Instituts für Sicherheits- und Entwicklungspolitik (ISDP) und Generalsekretärin des schwedischen Verteidigungsverbandes. Sie ist lebenslanges Mitglied der Königlich Schwedischen Akademie für Kriegswissenschaften und der Schwedischen Gesellschaft für Internationale Angelegenheiten und ist außerdem außerordentliche Professorin am George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies. Dr. Wieslander hat an der Universität Lund in Politikwissenschaften promoviert und an der Universität Göteborg einen Abschluss in Journalismus erworben.

Dr. Anna Wieslander is the Director for Northern Europe at the Atlantic Council and Head of its office in Stockholm. She also chairs the Institute for Security and Development Policy (ISDP) and serves as secretary general of the Swedish Defence Association. A life-time member of the Royal Swedish Academy of War Sciences and the Swedish Society for International Affairs, she is also an Adjunct Professor at the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies. Dr. Wieslander holds a PhD in Political Science from Lund University and a Journalism degree from Gothenburg University.
