Gabrielius Landsbergis has been the Foreign Minister of Lithuania since December 2020. After completing his studies, he worked as an advisor in the Government Chancellery of Lithuania in the Department of Foreign and European Affairs. In 2014, Gabrielius Landsbergis was elected as a member of the conservative TS-LKD to the European Parliament. In 2015, he assumed the chairmanship of his party and resigned from his mandate in the European Parliament in 2016 to run as the lead candidate in the Lithuanian parliamentary elections. Since 2016, he has been a member of the Lithuanian Parliament (Seimas) and until 2019, he served as the opposition leader there.
