Sarah Bressan ist wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Global Public Policy Institute (GPPi) in Berlin. Ihre Arbeitsschwerpunkte sind internationale Sicherheit, politische Gewalt, Konfliktanalyse und -prävention sowie die Rolle von Daten, Technologie, Vorausschau und Evaluation in der deutschen und europäischen Außenpolitik. Sie war Redakteurin des PeaceLab Blogs und hat zu Themen wie europäischer Außenpolitik, die Zukunft der NATO, die Messung von Gewalt und Fragilität und die Rolle neuer Technologien in Konflikten veröffentlicht. Zuvor analysierte Sarah an der Freien Universität Berlin Konfliktdynamiken in Subsahara-Afrika, arbeitete in diplomatischen Trainingsprogrammen des Auswärtigen Amtes und des UN-Hochkommissariats für Menschenrechte (OHCHR) sowie an Bildungsprojekten im Libanon, Kenia und Südafrika.

Sarah Bressan is a research fellow at the Global Public Policy Institute (GPPi) in Berlin. Her work focuses on international security, political violence, conflict analysis and prevention, as well as the role of data, technology, foresight, and evaluation in German and European foreign policy. She was the editor of the PeaceLab Blog and has published on topics such as European foreign policy, the future of NATO, measuring violence and fragility, and the role of new technologies in conflict. Prior to that, Sarah analyzed conflict dynamics in sub-Saharan Africa at Freie Universität Berlin, worked on diplomatic training programs at the German Federal Foreign Office and the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), as well as in education projects in Lebanon, Kenya, and South Africa.
