Pieter Brandt ist Offizier der deutschen Luftwaffe und sieht den größten Wert der NATO dort, wo wir vom „scharfen Ende der Demokratie“ sprechen. Sowohl in nationalen als auch internationalen Ausbildungsabschnitten konnte er hautnah erleben, was das Bündnis zu leisten im Stande ist. Vor allem im Einsatz hat ihn der Zusammenhalt unter den „NATO nations“ tief beeindruckt. Schon seit einigen Jahren ist Pieter Brandt Mitglied in der Deutschen Atlantischen Gesellschaft und wurde er durch die Ausschreibung zum NATO’s Future Seminar auf YATA Germany aufmerksam.

Pieter Brandt is an officer in the German Air Force and sees the greatest value of NATO where we speak of the "sharp end of democracy". In national as well as international training periods he was able to experience first-hand what the Alliance is capable of achieving. Particularly in the field, he was deeply impressed by the cohesion among the "NATO nations". Pieter Brandt has been a member of the German Atlantic Society for several years now and became aware of YATA Germany through the announcement of the NATO's Future Seminar.
